If you would like Candle Lighting, fill out the section below: (if not, skip this section)
Usually the Candle Lighting consists of fourteen candles, but may contain more for added wishes (and guests) The First Candle can serve as a memory candle representing deceased relatives celebrating along in spirit, it is lit by the Bat/Bar Mitzvah after having read a memory passage.
Will there by a memory candle?:
Yes No
Who will announce guests up to light the candles?:
Include the names of people who will be coming to light the candles. The usual order for the candle lighting is:
1. Memory 2 & 3. Grandparents 4. Great Aunts/Uncles 5. Aunts/Uncles 6. Cousins 7. Older Relatives 8. Younger Relatives 9. Friends of Parents 10. Friends of Mitzvah 11. Parents 12. Siblings 13. Guest of Honor 14. Good Luck

The usual number of candles is 14 (13 for age, one for good luck).
Try to group relatives and friends together to keep the amount of candles to 14 as best as possible.

A Poem should be written, and read by the Guest Of Honor, for each candle.
Other than the Memory Candle, upbeat music should be selected to be played after each poem is read.
Select a song for each candle that is appropriate for the guests lighting that candle.
